It’s going to be a big one! The UK’s most iconic festival has been going for 40 years now and 2010 is set to be the biggest Glastonbury ever! To celebrate, we’re giving away 5, yes that’s right 5 pairs of tickets to this years mammoth 40th Anniversary extravanganza Glastonbury Festival!

Full Terms and conditions (to go on pack if room or on the website if not):
1. Promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Carlsberg UK Ltd, their associated companies, agents, third parties or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. Text lines are open for entry into the competition from 01.02.10 to midnight on 01.06.10 (“The Promotion Period”) and until midnight on 01.08.10 (“Extended Promotion Period”). No entries will be accepted after this final date.
3. Prizes: There are 5 main prizes to be won. Each main prize consists of one pair of Glastonbury 2010 tickets. There are 400 runners up prizes of one official Glastonbury 2010 t-shirt and 800 further runners up prizes of one Tuborg MP3 sock.
4. To enter, consumers must send the word ‘FESTIVAL’ followed by their name and address to 82199. All entries must be no longer than 160 characters. Upon texting in, entrants will receive an automated response message within 48 hours confirming that their entry has been received. Each text message sent to 82199 will be charged at the standard network rate plus 25p for a confirmation of receipt message. If entrants do not receive a text message or email within 48 hours of entering, the entry may not have been received due to network delays. Feel free to enter again. Entrants will be charged for each entry. Maximum of one entry per person per day. For every entry over the exceed limit the consumer is charged 25p.
5. The draw for the main prizes will occur on 02.06.10 and the winners will be notified via the details provided on entry no later than 02.06.10.
6. The first 5 names drawn on 02.06.20 will each receive one pair of Glastonbury Tickets. These 5 main prize winners will receive their tickets 14 days before Glastonbury festival starts. The tickets will be valid for Glastonbury 2010 which takes place between 23.06.10 to 27.06.10. Tickets will provide entry to the festival but any additional expenses including the cost of travel to and from the event are not included.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if Glastonbury 2010 is cancelled for any reason.
8. The 800 runners up of the Tuborg MP3 socks will be chosen from all entrants on 26 February, 31 March, 30 April and 31 May 2010, with 200 winners being picked on each date.
9. The 400 runners up prizes of one official Glastonbury 2010 t-shirt names will be chosen at random on 2 August 2010.
10. No Purchase Necessary. For the same chance of winning, send your name and address by post to Tuborg Festival Promotion, 40 Vanston Place, London, SW6 1AX. Only one entry per envelope.
11. Personal information obtained in the course of the promotion will be used for the purpose of administering the promotion only and destroyed thereafter.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. Entry into the promotion implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
15. All winners will be contacted using the details provided to enter the promotion. If any prize is declined, or the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time, a supplementary winner may be drawn at the Promoter’s discretion.
16. The main competition winners must be available from 23.06.10 to 27.06.10 to attend Glastonbury festival 2010.
17. Winners of the runners up prizes should expect to receive their prize within 14 working days of receiving a winning message.
18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for tickets / t-shirts lost, delayed or damaged in transit.
19. The main prize winners may be asked to take part in promotional activities, plus provide a digital photograph of themselves for use on a promotional website. The Promoter also reserves the right to use any imagery or photography recorded from the main event in its promotional marketing material. It is a condition of entry that you agree to such use if you win and to sign any necessary promotional releases relating to your image rights.
20. To obtain the name and county of prize winners please send a stamped self addressed envelope to Carlsberg UK, 140 Bridget Street, Northampton NN1 1PZ between 18.05.10 and 18.06.10.
21. The prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to change the prizes for those of the same or higher value if circumstances make this necessary.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel or suspend this promotion or to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice where it becomes necessary to do so.
23. This promotion is governed by English Law.

Great to see I might still be in with a chance to go to Glastonbury. Went to 3 Festivals in the 1980’s. WG
