Tuborg Artist of the Month - Juliet The Sun

1 October 2009

Northampton band Juliet the Sun received national exposure throughout the summer as the rockers that helped the England cricket team regain the Ashes and they are now set to release their hotly anticipated debut single ‘Time for Heroes’ on October 5th.

The 5-piece rock band are fronted by lead singer Steve Crook who is a professional cricketer for Northants Cricket so plays with England’s Monty Panesar and has previously played in the same team as a number of England stars such as James Anderson, Graeme Swann and Andrew Flintoff.

Before the Ashes started this summer, Steve sent the new single to the England players he knew to wish them luck. The rest as they say is history. The track became a regular fixture in the England dressing room and the lads listened to it before facing the Aussies to get them psyched up and in the mood for taking wickets! Since the story broke in The Sun, The Guardian, The Daily Express and The Mail on Sunday the media response to the track has been phenomenal with live performances on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC News and BBC Look East. The band was even asked to perform during the final Oval Ashes test and for the England team at the forthcoming annual PCA Awards!

‘Time for Heroes’ is out on 5 October through iTunes and the band is really hoping to get the support of every Tuborg lover. So why not download a copy, with beer in hand, to show your support for this sensational new group that are really bowling over the opposition in the music charts?
